Since 1994, Cx Associates has established itself as a leader in commissioning excellence. Over nearly three decades, we have evolved from our commissioning roots to become a comprehensive engineering consultancy. In recent years, Cx Associates has brought building enclosure/envelope services in-house, complementing our established MEP commissioning capabilities to offer clients a true one-stop-shop solution. We offer many of the same services for building enclosure as our MEP side of the business, including design review, energy audits, and more—either as integrated solutions or stand-alone services. This comprehensive approach allows us to provide seamless coordination across all building systems—from HVAC and electrical to building enclosure performance—ensuring optimal building performance while streamlining projects for building owners.

Enclosure Services

Cx Associates provides specialized building enclosure/envelope services as a distinct offering from our MEP systems work, or as an integrated service. Through our building enclosure commissioning (BECx) work, we deliver a systematic process that ensures all building enclosure components are designed and constructed to meet owner requirements, serving as a continuous resource from initial concept through final occupancy.

We also offer comprehensive building enclosure testing and diagnostics as stand-alone services to address modern construction demands, including mandatory compliance with energy codes, project specification verification, and assessment of existing building energy efficiency and durability issues.
